Role & responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies to generate recent leads and achieve revenue targets.

- Identify and approach potential clients, understand their requirements, and convert prospects into business opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate pricing, and coordinate with internal teams to close deals.

- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential customer segments.

- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through regular follow-ups, networking, client meetings, and referrals.

- Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

- Prepare regular sales reports, track targets, and provide updates on business development activities.

- Leverage AI tools, CRM platforms, LinkedIn,



and digital resources to improve lead generation, market research, client outreach, and sales productivity.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-8 years of experience in Business Development / B2B Sales, preferably in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Supply Chain.

- Good quality, smart and presentable professional with a strong business mindset.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- AI-savvy and comfortable using technology and digital tools to improve productivity.

- Hardworking, proactive, target-oriented, and self-motivated.

- Strong client-handling and relationship-management skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with internal teams.
