Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development professional with a strong understanding of industrial adhesives, adaptable packaging solutions, and distributor management. The candidate will be responsible for managing existing business accounts, developing new customers and distributor networks, achieving sales targets, and improving business profitability across the assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow existing B2B customer accounts while developing new business opportunities.
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and channel partners to expand market reach.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, manufacturers, and key customers.
- Promote and sell industrial adhesives, packaging chemicals, printing inks, and related products.
- Develop a strong understanding of product applications, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 25–30 business accounts, with individual account values in the range of ₹5–10 lakh, as applicable to the business plan.
- Achieve annual sales targets for revenue, volume, and contribution margin.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and margins in line with company policies.
- Identify new markets, customers, and distribution opportunities to drive business growth.
- Monitor distributor performance, customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and other required business reports.
- Manage travel and business development expenses within approved budgets.




- Travel across assigned markets as required for customer meetings, distributor visits, and business development activities.

Product Portfolio The candidate should be willing to develop and maintain technical knowledge of the following products:

- Water-based adhesives for flexible packaging.
- Solvent-based and solvent-free adhesives.
- Pressure-sensitive hot-melt adhesives for tapes and labels.
- Hot-melt adhesives for end-of-line packaging.
- NC, PU, and vinyl printing inks.
- Water-based heat-seal coatings for foil-to-foil sealing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; a technical or chemical-related qualification would be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, industrial chemicals, adhesives, packaging materials, or related industries.
- Knowledge of distributor management, channel sales, and dealer networks.
- Ability to manage key accounts and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Understanding of sales targets, pricing, negotiation, profitability, and margin management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and business development skills.
- Ability to identify current business opportunities and convert leads into customers.
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in selling industrial adhesives, flexible packaging materials, printing inks, or related chemical products.
- Existing relationships with distributors, manufacturers, packaging companies, or industrial customers.
- Experience managing multiple business accounts and achieving sales targets.
- A growth-oriented mindset with the ability to balance existing accounts and new business development.
