About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Tamil Speaking with experience in the EdTech industry to join our sales team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 year of experience in EdTech sales, preferably in a B2C/Inside Sales role, with hands-on experience in lead handling, counselling, follow-ups, and conversions.

The candidate must be a native Tamil speaker or have native-level fluency in Tamil and should be confident in communicating with Tamil-speaking learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle inbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand learners' requirements and recommend suitable courses or programs.
- Explain course features, benefits, learning structure, and career relevance.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into enrolments.
- Handle customer queries and sales objections effectively.
- Maintain lead and follow-up details in the CRM.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to team goals.
- Ensure a smooth enrolment experience by coordinating with the relevant internal teams.

Requirements

- 2+ year of experience in EdTech sales.




- Experience in B2C/Inside Sales, Academic Counselling, or EdTech course sales.
- Native / native-level fluency in Tamil is required.
- Good working proficiency in English.
- Robust communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented with a strong focus on conversions.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.

Compensation Fixed Salary + Performance Incentives + Sales Bonuses
