Job Purpose

This role is for professionals who can lead the analytics and MIS unit in strategy development and data presentation with regard to the collection and various business functions such as sales, operations, credit etc. The Head of Analytics will play an analytical role, where he develops and applies analytical algorithms and methods wherever it is possible with a view of driving and enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes. He will lead the analytics and MIS department in the creation of high-quality analyses for all functions of the business and in the definition of metrics that track the business’s performance at different fronts.

It is also the duty of the Head of Analytics to validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for the top-level management and relevant stakeholders. This role will work to ensure data is clean and credible to support operational and strategic decision making.

SKILLS AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

- Good Analytical & Presentation skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Should be capable of creating presentation decks.
- Must have data modelling skills.
- Knowledge in of the data analysis tools such as Excel, Warp, SPSS etc
- Capability to drive the analyses such as trend analysis, probability analysis, prediction analysis, financial model creation etc.
- Team management skills




- System enhancement skills – to accommodate the frequent requirements of the business and operation teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Management of different MIS and analytical reports such as collection MIS, Operation MIS, credit MIS, Incentive MIS, Legal recovery MIS etc
- Driving portfolio level risk analyses
- Management of portfolio level collection performance prediction analysis.
- Cost-Benefit analysis.
- Problem based solution model creations with the help of data.
- Providing insights to the top level on potential risk, opportunities, cost, trend, probability etc.

Educational Qualification – Graduate

Experience – 2 to 5 year experience in lending / financial services in managerial role
