Role Overview

As a Business Analyst – Banking at Infomatics, you will work closely with clients, product teams, developers, QA, and implementation specialists to analyze banking workflows, define solution requirements, and support delivery of high-quality BFSI products and projects. You will play a key role in ensuring solutions are practical, compliant, scalable, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with banking clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and solution requirements.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, demos, and stakeholder interviews.
- Analyze existing banking processes and identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and automation potential.
- Prepare clear business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification documents (FSDs), user stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements for development and implementation teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, QA teams, and implementation consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design discussions and validate proposed functionality against client requirements.




- Maintain requirements traceability and ensure approved changes are documented and communicated.
- Support UAT planning, test-case review, defect triage, and user acceptance activities.
- Assist in preparing client demos, presentations, training material, and implementation documentation.
- Understand banking products, operations, regulatory requirements, and customer journeys to provide meaningful domain inputs.
- Monitor project progress, highlight risks or dependencies, and support timely resolution of business-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in BFSI.
- Prior hands-on experience working on banking projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of common banking terminologies, products, and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured documentation skills.
- Ability to understand complex workflows and convert them into transparent functional requirements.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
