About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to work closely with business leaders and the leadership team on performance analysis, strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making. The role will involve analysing P&Ls;, business performance and KPIs, developing dashboards and management reports, and using AI tools to generate insights and improve business processes.

Key responsibilities

Dashboarding and performance tracking

- Build and maintain group-level and business-unit dashboards covering revenue, unit economics, funnel, cash burn and operating KPIs
- Standardise KPI definitions and data sources across portfolio companies so numbers reconcile
- Run the monthly and quarterly performance review cycle: data collection, variance analysis and commentary

Analytics and insight

- Analyse business performance, market data and competitor activity to surface risks and opportunities
- Build financial and operating models for new initiatives, budgets and scenario planning
- Support M&A; and investment work with market sizing, target screening, benchmarking and diligence analysis





Leadership and investor communication

- Create board, leadership and investor presentations in PowerPoint with a clear, insight-led storyline
- Prepare quarterly results inputs, investor FAQs and data packs for analyst and investor meetings
- Turn ad hoc leadership questions into crisp one-page answers within tight timelines

Cross-portfolio coordination

- Work with finance, product and business teams across portfolio companies to gather inputs and track initiatives
- Track action items and milestones from leadership reviews through to closure

Must-have qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role (consulting, strategy, business finance or analytics)
- Advanced Excel: pivot tables, lookups, energetic arrays, scenario models and clean, auditable workbooks
- Strong PowerPoint: structures a storyline, builds clean charts and produces board-quality slides with minimal supervision
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or Excel
- Comfort with large datasets; Regular hands-on use of AI tools, and the judgement to check what they produce.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain numbers to senior stakeholders
- High ownership, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines

PropTech experience Prior work in PropTech, real estate, rental or housing marketplaces; familiarity with brokerage, listings, rental or developer SaaS models

Background

Management consulting firm (strategy, analytics or capability centre) or a high-growth startup in a strategy or founder's office role

Education

MBA from a reputed institute
