Job Summary

McWAY is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bridge Estimation Engineer to join our team in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bridge construction, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tender documentation.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing technical drawings, evaluating material quantities and costs, and coordinating with internal teams to support successful project bidding and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze bridge drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for bridge and associated civil infrastructure projects.
- Develop estimation sheets, rate analysis, material calculations, and cost breakdowns.
- Evaluate material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs to prepare competitive estimates.
- Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and project teams for technical clarifications.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid submissions, and estimation documentation.




- Monitor market rates and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in estimation for bridge, highway, structural, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of bridge construction methods, materials, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Ability to interpret civil and structural engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and estimation-related software; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet tender submission deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with hands-on experience in bridge estimation, infrastructure tendering, and cost analysis will be preferred. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and capable of preparing accurate and competitive project estimates independently.

Job Location

Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Candidates should be willing to work at the Gandhinagar location.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
