Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bodyshop Technician to join our team at NEXA Sai Service, Kottayam. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle body repairs, denting, panel replacement, accident damage rectification, and related bodyshop activities while maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform denting, body repairs, and accident damage rectification on vehicles.
- Inspect damaged vehicles and identify the extent of body damage.
- Carry out panel repair, panel replacement, alignment, and fitting as required.
- Perform dismantling and reassembling of vehicle body parts.
- Ensure proper fitment and alignment of doors, bumpers, fenders, bonnets, and other body panels.
- Follow repair instructions, job cards, and manufacturer-recommended repair procedures.
- Coordinate with service advisors, bodyshop supervisors, painters, and other technicians to complete jobs on time.
- Maintain the quality of repairs and ensure customer vehicles are handled carefully.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the bodyshop.
- Use tools, equipment, and repair materials properly and ensure they are maintained in good condition.
- Complete assigned jobs within the specified turnaround time.




- Report additional damages, repair requirements, and technical issues to the supervisor.

Educational Qualification
- ITI or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience in automobile body repairs may also apply.

Experience
- Experience in vehicle denting, body repairs, accident repairs, or automobile bodyshop operations is preferred.
- Experience in a Maruti Suzuki dealership or an authorised automobile bodyshop will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and practical skills may also apply.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of automobile body structures and repair techniques.
- Practical skills in denting, panel repair, replacement, and body part fitting.
- Ability to identify body damage and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Knowledge of bodyshop tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Good teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete repair work with accuracy and attention to detail.
