Qualification

- Minimum Requirement – Post Diploma. Preferable Requirement - B.E. - Biomedical Engineering.

Skilled Experience Preferable Requirement – 2+ Years.

Role Purpose To ensure the optimal functioning, safety, and maintenance of all biomedical equipment and hospital furniture through regular inspections, preventive care, breakdown management, and vendor coordination, thereby supporting uninterrupted clinical operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance of equipment.
- Daily Rounds to all departments ensuring proper functioning of equipments.
- Attending the breakdown calls.
- Planning the maintenance schedule of all equipments & keeping the proper follow-up for getting it done on regular basis.
- Updating the preventive maintenance stickers which are put on every equipment after every Preventive maintenance.




- Numbering all the new or permanently transferred Biomedical Equipments, Hospital Furniture to maintain the proper inventory.
- Technical Comparison of the equipments or hospital furniture which is planned to be procured.
- Follow-up with the vendors for service related issues. Filing, Administrative work, & maintaining the breakdown history of each equipment.

Skills & Competencies

- Technically very well versed with all the equipments. Ability to communicate to the end user and the vendor.

- External:Medical equipment vendors, service engineers, and regulatory inspection agencies
- Internal :Nursing staff, doctors, OT technicians, maintenance team, and hospital administration
