We are looking for a Billing Specialist to manage daily billing operations and transaction-processing activities within the insurance domain. The role involves premium processing, billing transactions, reconciliation, error correction, reporting and resolution of complex billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience working with billing systems.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily billing and premium-processing activities accurately and within defined timelines.
2. Process billing transactions, system corrections, data updates and other production activities.
3. Monitor billing queues and reports to identify discrepancies, exceptions and incomplete transactions.
4. Perform reconciliations and investigate billing issues to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution.
5. Prepare reports, support system testing and contribute to process and billing-system improvements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
2. Experience in insurance billing, billing operations or insurance transaction processing.
3. Strong experience in reconciliation, discrepancy resolution and billing issue management.
4. Basic accounting knowledge with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office and billing/transaction-processing systems.
