Job Title: Bartender

Department: Food & Beverage (F&B;)

Reports To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. The bartender ensures excellent guest service, maintains bar cleanliness, manages beverage stock, and follows hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol-service standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
2. Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
3. Prepare classic and signature cocktails with proper measurements, garnishes, and presentation.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and storage areas.
5. Check beverage inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages to the bar manager.
6. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene rules, and food safety standards.
7. Handle billing, POS operations, and cash transactions accurately.
8. Check the quality, freshness, and presentation of all beverages before serving.
9. Maintain proper storage of beer, wine, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
10. Coordinate with service staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Follow responsible alcohol-service policies and applicable legal requirements.
12. Assist in menu development, beverage promotions, and the creation of new cocktails.
13. Minimize wastage and maintain accurate records of beverage consumption.
14. Provide professional, friendly, and personalized guest service.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Positive communication and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of bar tools and liquid-measuring equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
- Knowledge of inventory control and beverage costing.
- Teamwork, attention to detail, and personal grooming.

Qualifications
- Hospitality or food and beverage training is preferred.
- Previous bartending or bar-service experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
