Role Description The Bar Manager role at Odd Culture India is a full-time, in office position based in Gurugram.

The Bar

Manager oversees day-to-day bar operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising service, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring proper storage and presentation of beverages. The role also involves training and mentoring bar staff, upholding hygiene and safety standards, implementing sales and promotional initiatives, and handling guest feedback.

The Bar

Manager works closely with management to achieve revenue targets, maintain brand standards, and support overall venue performance.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, consistent guest experiences.
- Hands-on Food & Beverage knowledge,



including bar operations, beverage menus, and basic food pairing.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with staff, management, and guests.
- Experience in Training team members, conducting briefings, and supporting skill development.
- Sales skills to promote menu items, drive upselling, and support revenue growth.
- Previous experience in bar or restaurant management, ideally in a high-volume or premium setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance within hospitality environments.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
