– BAR EXECUTIVE

Reports To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary The Bar Executive is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the bar, ensuring excellent guest service, proper beverage preparation, stock control, hygiene, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, equipment, glassware, and workstations.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of beverages and bar supplies.
- Monitor daily stock levels and report shortages, breakages, and discrepancies to the Bar Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of beverage consumption, stock movement, and wastage.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all orders are served promptly and courteously to guests.
- Verify bar requisitions and coordinate with the Store and Purchase departments for stock requirements.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify guest eligibility wherever required by law.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable liquor regulations.




- Assist in bar opening and closing procedures, including stock verification and cash or billing coordination, as assigned.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in bar operations or beverage service is preferred.
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and standard serving procedures.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and billing systems.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Willingness to work adaptable shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

General Conditions
- The employee shall report to the assigned supervisor and follow duty timings.
- The employee must maintain confidentiality, discipline, and professional behaviour at all times.
- All company property, stock, equipment, and records must be handled responsibly.
- Any stock discrepancies, breakages, or operational issues must be reported immediately to the reporting manager.
