Core Responsibilities

- Server-Side Logic: Write code that runs on the server to process business rules, handle data calculations, and manage application workflows. [1, 2]

- Database Management: Design, create, and maintain relational (SQL) or non-relational (NoSQL) databases to store, retrieve, and organize user information securely. [1, 2, 3]

- API Development: Build and manage Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) so the frontend and external services can communicate with the server seamlessly. [1, 2]

- Security & Authentication: Implement encryption, user login authentication, data protection, and defenses against digital vulnerabilities. [1, 2]

- Performance & Scalability: Optimize server response times, manage high traffic loads, and set up caching or load balancing. [1, 2]
