Title: AI & Azure Developer

Core stack: Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric
Employment type: Full-time
Experience: 3+ years in Azure development, with hands-on AI agent work
About Prism Analytics
Prism Analytics is a Microsoft-ecosystem data and analytics consultancy with teams in the US and India.
We help enterprises move from legacy systems to modern, scalable analytics on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. Our work spans cloud-native application building, total cost of ownership, platform migration, and AI Data Agents. Clients include Fortune 500 companies across retail, healthcare, financial services, and technology.
About the role
You will take AI agents from idea to production, and keep them running there.
Most enterprise AI agents stall after the demo. They meet real data, real governance, and real users, and progress stops. This role exists to close that gap. You will design agents in Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio, ground them in enterprise data through Microsoft Fabric, and operationalize them so they are secure, observable, and cost-controlled.
You will work directly with client stakeholders and Prism's data engineering team, owning agent delivery end to end.
Key responsibilities
Build agents with Azure AI Foundry
Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI models
Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) with Azure AI Search and enterprise data sources
Write and version prompts, tools, and orchestration logic for multi-step agent workflows
Run evaluations for accuracy, groundedness, and safety before and after release
Build copilots with Copilot Studio
Build conversational agents and copilots in Copilot Studio for business users
Connect agents to business systems through Power Automate, connectors, and custom actions
Publish agents to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and web channels
Ground agents in Microsoft Fabric
Connect agents to data in OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Power BI semantic models
Build and support Fabric data agents that answer questions over governed enterprise data
Work with data engineers on pipelines and models that keep agent answers accurate
Operationalize what you build
Set up CI/CD for agent deployment across dev, test, and production
Monitor usage, latency, quality, and token cost with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Apply security and governance: Entra ID, role-based access, content filtering, and data boundaries
Document agent design, runbooks, and handover material for client teams
Work with clients
Turn business problems into clear agent use cases with measurable outcomes
Present working builds and explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required skills and experience
3+ years of development on Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience building and deploying agents or LLM applications with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI
Practical delivery in Copilot Studio, including custom actions, connectors, and channel publishing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or the wider Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory,
Synapse, Data Lake)
Strong Python skills; C# or TypeScript is a plus
Experience with RAG patterns, vector search, prompt engineering, and agent evaluation
Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure Functions, and event-driven integration
Understanding of identity, security, and responsible AI controls in Azure
Clear written and spoken communication with both engineers and business users
Ability to work independently across time zones in a remote team
Nice to have
Microsoft certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600), or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
Experience with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or other agent orchestration frameworks
Power BI development, including semantic models and DAX
Infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform
Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
Exposure to modernizing legacy reporting and analytics systems
Why join Prism
