Role & responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for applications hosted on AWS cloud.

- Monitor production environments and proactively identify performance bottlenecks and service disruptions.

- Troubleshoot application, server, database, network, and cloud infrastructure issues.

- Manage incidents, service requests, problem management, and change management activities.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement preventive solutions.

- Support deployment activities and release management during planned maintenance windows.

- Monitor system health, logs, alerts, and application performance metrics.

- Work closely with Development, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Security, and Database teams for issue resolution.

- Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, OLAs, and operational procedures.

- Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

- Participate in on-call support and 24x7 production support rotations.

- Implement automation to reduce manual operational efforts and improve system reliability.
