About the Role

KAN Universal is looking for an AV Technician / AV Specialist to support the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of professional audio-visual systems. The candidate will work on conference rooms, meeting spaces, LED display systems, and integrated AV solutions for corporate and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and commission professional AV equipment, including microphones, DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, cameras, displays, and video conferencing systems.
- Perform AV signal routing, cable termination, rack integration, and equipment connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot audio DSPs, including microphone inputs, audio routing, equalisation, and echo cancellation.
- Work with AV-over-IP technologies, Ethernet networking, and Dante audio systems.
- Assist in installing and configuring Q-SYS or similar integrated AV control systems.
- Install and troubleshoot LED video walls, display controllers, and associated signal distribution equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, signal-flow diagrams, wiring layouts, BOQs, and equipment specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, system testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and after deployment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare installation reports, cable schedules, equipment inventories, and commissioning documentation.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma, ITI, or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
- Hands-on understanding of professional audio systems, including microphones, DSPs, amplifiers, and speakers.
- Familiarity with HDMI, USB, XLR, TRS, Phoenix/Euroblock connectors, and structured cabling.
- Basic understanding of Ethernet networking, IP addressing, PoE switches, and AV-over-IP systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot signal-flow issues.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work on installations across Delhi NCR and other locations when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron, Crestron, or similar AV platforms.
- Familiarity with Dante and Dante Controller.
- Experience with conference-room integration, video conferencing, and control systems.
- Knowledge of LED video walls, sending cards, receiving cards, and LED display controllers.
- Relevant manufacturer certifications in AV networking, DSP programming, or system integration.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is technically curious, hands-on, and comfortable learning new AV technologies. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot independently, understand complete signal flows, and work effectively as part of an installation and commissioning team.

Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with strong technical fundamentals and practical aptitude may also apply.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
