Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman Point Cloud with 15 years of experience in preparing accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings from point cloud and laser scanning data. The candidate will be responsible for converting point cloud data into detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation.

- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD based on point cloud/laser scan data.

- Process and interpret point cloud data for creating CAD drawings and models.

- Convert Point Cloud to CAD and prepare detailed as-built drawings.

- Create floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and engineering drawings.

- Review point cloud data and identify dimensions, structures, equipment, and site details.

- Ensure drawings meet project standards, accuracy, and required specifications.

- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams for drawing requirements.





- Make revisions and updates to drawings based on project/site requirements.

- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and file management.

- Support preparation of scan-to-CAD and as-built documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D.

- Hands-on experience with Point Cloud / Scan-to-CAD projects.

- Understanding of laser scanning, LiDAR, and point cloud data.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modeling, layouts, sections, and elevations.

- Good understanding of dimensions, scales, layers, and CAD standards.

- Knowledge of Revit or other 3D/CAD software will be an added advantage.

- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
