Maxroof is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman – Detailing to join our Design & Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailing plans for roofing and steel structure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for roofing systems, steel structures, and related components.
- Develop fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and erection drawings as per project requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Prepare sectional views, elevations, connection details, and component details.
- Coordinate with design engineers, project engineers, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings meet dimensional accuracy, quality standards, and project deadlines.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.
- Support the production and project teams with technical drawings and detailing information.

Required Skills and Qualifications




- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting and detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of steel structures, roofing systems, fabrication drawings, and engineering detailing will be preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions, sections, and elevations.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in roofing, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), steel fabrication, or structural engineering.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection drawings.
- Understanding of material specifications, BOQs, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or project-based environment.
