Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC layout drawings, ducting layouts, piping drawings, equipment layouts, and detailed shop drawings in accordance with project specifications, design standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare HVAC drawings using AutoCAD, including HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and equipment layouts.
- Develop HVAC shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare duct routing, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation layouts.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting drawings.
- Read and interpret HVAC design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents.
- Prepare sections, elevations, details, and installation drawings as required.
- Incorporate design revisions and update drawings based on engineer and client comments.
- Assist HVAC engineers in preparing drawings for installation and execution at site.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, project standards, and company quality requirements.




- Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, and other departments to resolve drawing-related issues.

Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including ducting, ventilation, air conditioning, and chilled water piping.
- Ability to read HVAC layouts, mechanical drawings, and architectural plans.
- Understanding of duct sizing, duct routing, piping layouts, and HVAC equipment placement.
- Knowledge of HVAC symbols, drawing standards, and layer management.
- Familiarity with HVAC coordination and clash identification.
- Valuable attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, or BIM coordination.
- Knowledge of HVAC shop drawings and installation practices.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant local standards.
- Experience working on commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, hotels, industrial facilities, or other MEP projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and quality of HVAC drawings.
- Timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.
- Minimum drawing errors and revisions.
- Effective coordination with other MEP disciplines.
- Compliance with project specifications and drawing standards.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
