Managerial Roles in Statutory and Internal Audit with Reputed Firm in Bangalore A highly reputed mid-sized Chartered Accountancy firm with a strong portfolio of Indian and multinational clients is seeking experienced Audit Managers for its Internal Audit and Statutory Audit practices in Bangalore.

The role is intended for qualified Chartered Accountants with prior experience in managing audit engagements within a CA firm or large professional services environment. Depending on experience and background, the individual will be aligned primarily to either Internal Audit or Statutory Audit engagements while also contributing to broader practice initiatives.

The position combines engagement delivery, client management, pre-sales support, people development, knowledge and process enhancement, and new service offering development. Selected candidates will work closely with Partners and senior leadership on a range of assignments across industries, with the opportunity to take on increasing client-facing and practice leadership responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Internal Audit or Statutory Audit engagements from planning until completion.




- Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders.
- Review engagement quality and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
- Support proposal preparation, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
- Mentor, train, and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to audit methodologies, knowledge repositories, technical guidance, and practice development initiatives.
- Support the development and enhancement of service offerings within the audit practice.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- Prior experience in Internal Audit or Statutory Audit within a CA firm or professional services workplace is mandatory.
- Experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of audit standards, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and business processes relevant to the candidate's area of specialization.
- Strong and polished communication, stakeholder management, and review skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a client-facing and leadership-oriented role.
