: Hospital Attender

Location: MAGJ Hospital, Mookkannoor

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting patients, nurses, and other hospital staff with patient movement, basic patient care, and routine hospital activities while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in shifting and transporting patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
- Accompany patients to diagnostic and treatment departments as required.
- Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and positioning under supervision.
- Support patients during admission, discharge, and transfers.
- Transport medical records, reports, samples, and supplies to the designated departments as instructed.
- Assist in the distribution of patient meals and other essential items as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of patient beds and assigned areas.
- Follow hospital infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols.




- Respond promptly to requests from nursing staff and patients.
- Treat patients and their bystanders with courtesy, compassion, and respect.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or hospital management.

Qualification
- Minimum SSLC / 10th Pass preferred.
- GDA or patient care-related training will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Previous hospital experience will be an advantage.

Required Skills
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and courteous attitude.
- Physical fitness to assist with patient movement.
- Ability to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Willingness to work as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
