Job Summary:

MVSR Engineering College invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology. The candidate should have strong academic knowledge, teaching experience, research contributions, and expertise in emerging technologies to support academic excellence, student development, and departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Technology and related subjects.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, laboratory activities, and assessments.
- Guide student projects, research activities, internships, and technical projects.
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
- Support NBA accreditation, academic documentation, and departmental activities.
- Mentor students and assist in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Contribute to faculty development, industry collaboration,



and technology-oriented initiatives.
- Support research and teaching in emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Deep Learning, Quantum Computing, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI tools.

Educational Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- First Class or equivalent at the Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 2 years after Ph.D.
- Minimum 6 qualifying research publications, subject to applicable regulatory norms.

Preferred Skills:

- Robust subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
- Research, publication, and student mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of current technologies and industry trends.
- Experience with academic accreditation and departmental coordination.
