The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Finance processes SAP S4HANA business separations carveouts mergers and demergers organisational restructuring and global template deployment The architect will be responsible for defining the target finance architecture leading design decisions ensuring business continuity throughout the transition and driving successful implementation of finance transformation initiatives
This role will work closely with business stakeholders programme leadership enterprise architects integration teams and external partners to deliver a scalable and compliant finance solution supporting the future operating model
Key Responsibilities
Demerger Finance Transformation Leadership
Lead the SAP Finance RTRFICO workstream for the Demerger Programme
Define targetstate finance architecture and operating model
Drive finance separation and carveout activities across legal entities company codes controlling areas profit centres and business units
Assess impacts of organisational restructuring on SAP Finance processes and configurations
Support Day1 readiness TSA planning data separation and postseparation stabilisation
SAP RTR Solution Architecture
Design and govern endtoend RecordtoReport processes
Define finance process standards controls and governance
Provide architectural guidance for oGeneral Ledger Accounting oAccounts Payable oAccounts Receivable oAsset Accounting oBank Accounting oTax Management oCost Centre Accounting oProfit Centre Accounting oInternal Orders oProduct Costing oCOPA oGroup Reporting oIntercompany Accounting oFinancial Close Processes
SAP S4HANA Finance Architecture
Lead SAP S4HANA Finance solution design
Design Universal Journal architecture and finance data models
Support Central Finance Group Reporting and consolidation initiatives
Guide finance harmonisation during organisational changes
Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and SAP Activate methodology
Data Migration Separation
Define financerelated data migration strategy
Lead data carveout and legal entity separation activities
Govern migration of oChart of Accounts oCost Centres oProfit Centres oVendors oCustomers oFixed Assets oOpen Transactions oHistorical Financial Data
Ensure data quality reconciliation and audit compliance
Integration CrossFunctional Collaboration
Collaborate with OTC PTP Manufacturing Supply Chain Treasury Tax and HR teams
Define finance integration requirements across SAP and nonSAP systems
Support integration architecture with SAP BTP and middleware platforms
Ensure financial control requirements are incorporated across business processes
Governance Stakeholder Management
Act as trusted advisor to business and programme leadership
Lead design workshops and architecture reviews
Manage relationships with business stakeholders finance leadership and implementation partners
Drive risk management and issue resolution
Review and approve functional and technical solution designs
Mandatory Skills
SAP Finance
12-16 years of SAP Finance consulting experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as SAP FICORTR Solution Architect
Robust expertise in oGeneral Ledger GL oAccounts Payable AP oAccounts Receivable AR oAsset Accounting AA oBanking oTax oCost Centre Accounting CCA oProfit Centre Accounting PCA oInternal Orders oProduct Costing oCOPA oGroup Reporting
