3. Bill / Invoice Accounting

- Record vendor bills after 2-way/3-way match with Purchase Orders and goods/service receipt notes.

- Share remittance advices and resolve vendor payment queries in a timely manner.

5. Cash Flow Management (AP)

- Prepare and maintain the AP-side cash outflow forecast/schedule based on vendor due dates and payment terms.
- Prioritize payments to optimize working capital while maintaining vendor relationships and avoiding penalties/interest.

- Identify gaps in the existing AP process and drive standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Document and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the AP function.
- Support implementation of system/process controls to minimize errors, duplicate payments, and leakages.

7. Audit & Compliance

- Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Respond to audit queries related to vendor bills, POs, payments, and AP ageing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure AP transactions comply with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation trails for all AP transactions.

8.

Reconciliations, Reporting & Other Duties

- Perform periodic vendor statement and AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliations.
- Maintain AP files, trackers, and documentation in a standardized, centralized repository.
- Prepare ad-hoc AP reports and MIS (AP ageing, vendor outstanding, accruals) as required by management.
- Support month-end close activities related to AP (accruals, provisions, GRIR clearing).
- Liaise with interdepartmental stakeholders and teams across geographies (India, US, Canada, South Africa) to obtain approvals and resolve queries.
