DiaLawGue has an exclusive mandate from a full-service law firm with offices across India to hire an Associate for its General Corporate & Advisory practice. The role is based in the firm's New Delhi office, full-time and in office. The firm advises businesses, investors, institutions and individuals across corporate, commercial and disputes work.

It is a client-focused firm that puts its clients' needs first, and it looks for people who take ownership of their work and act without waiting to be asked.

The role This role is built around general corporate and advisory work, with room to grow into transactions. If you're strong on advisory work and still building deal experience, the firm will support you as you take that on.

What you'll do

- Advise clients on day-to-day corporate matters, including company law, governance, compliance and regulatory queries




- Draft and review commercial contracts and corporate documents
- Prepare research notes and advisory memos
- Support the team on transactions, including due diligence, transaction documents and closing
- Take part in contract negotiations with counterparties
- Handle regular client communication and coordination on ongoing matters

What we're looking for

- 2–3 years of corporate experience. Prior experience at a law firm is essential.
- A strong foundation in general corporate and advisory work
- Some transactional exposure is a plus
- Negotiation experience will set you apart
- Clean drafting and close attention to detail
