Job Overview:

We are seeking an Associate (Area Sales) to drive sales growth, strengthen market presence, and ensure smooth end-to-end operations across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in distribution management, trade marketing, sales planning, and channel development, with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.

- Expand market penetration across retail, wholesale, modern trade, and emerging channels.

- Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.

- Lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply coordination to ensure product availability.

- Drive trade marketing initiatives, including promotions, visibility programs, and brand activation.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to guide business decisions.

- Monitor primary and secondary sales performance and implement corrective actions when needed.

- Manage a field sales team, set KPIs, and support capability building.

- Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations,



and logistics teams for smooth execution.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 2-4 years of experience in FMCG sales, distribution management, or trade marketing.

- Strong understanding of retail dynamics, channel management, and market operations.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and CRM/SFA systems.
