As part of our expansion and growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality functions and help us maintain and enhance our standards.

Position: Assistant Quality Manager

Department: Quality Assurance

Location: Epothane Civelec Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Ghaziabad

Reporting To: Quality Manager / Management Representative

Job Summary The Assistant Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), monitoring product quality, conducting audits, managing non-conformities, maintaining calibration records, facilitating external audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities : Quality Control & Inspection

- Review and verify all Incoming Inspection Reports, In-Process Checklists, and Quality Records maintained by Quality Executives.
- Verify all Non-Conformities (NCs) identified and recorded by the Quality Team.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Prepare Test Certificates based on approved Quality Control Checklists and inspection records.

Quality Management System (QMS)
- Review and monitor Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions against internal non-conformities and ensure their effectiveness.




- Conduct Internal Audits as per the approved audit schedule and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Facilitate and coordinate external audits including ISO Audits, Customer Audits, Third-Party Audits, and Certification Audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and company procedures.

Calibration & Testing
- Maintain and verify calibration status of all Testing and Measuring Instruments.
- Ensure calibration records are updated, controlled, and readily available for audits.
- Possess strong knowledge of testing methods, measuring instruments, and inspection techniques used within the organization.

Team Management & Training
- Lead, guide, and motivate the Quality Team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Identify manpower and resource requirements for the Quality and Store Departments.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, induction, and training of Quality Department personnel.
- Conduct employee training programs on quality standards, inspection methods, and quality procedures.

Documentation & Technical Support
- Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings as per company requirements.
- Ensure proper document control and retention of quality records.

Continuous Improvement




- Drive quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality data and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving quality-related issues.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handling ISO audits, customer audits, and quality management systems.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
- Hands-on experience with Testing & Measuring Instruments and Calibration Management.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and Quality Tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
