Job Summary

Matrusri Education Society is looking for a qualified Assistant Professor for the MBA Department with expertise in Business Analytics, Business Analysis, and Microsoft Power BI. The candidate should be capable of delivering management concepts through practical applications, analytical tools, case studies, and industry-oriented projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Business Analytics, Business Analysis, Data Visualization, and related MBA subjects.
- Conduct practical sessions on Microsoft Power BI, including data transformation, data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation, and report generation.
- Train students in Advanced MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, charts, and data analysis.
- Guide students in analysing business data, identifying trends, tracking KPIs, and supporting data-driven managerial decisions.
- Teach business analyst concepts such as requirement gathering, process analysis, problem-solving, and business performance reporting.
- Mentor students in projects, case studies, presentations, and industry-oriented assignments.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials,



and assessments.
- Participate in departmental activities, academic planning, research, and workshops.

Educational Qualifications
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification in Management, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Qualifications must meet applicable AICTE, affiliating university, and institutional norms.

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of Business Analytics, data visualization, dashboard development, and Business Intelligence.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and interactive reporting.
- Good knowledge of Advanced Excel and business analysis techniques.
- Strong communication, presentation, teaching, and student mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, relevant certifications, research, or prior teaching experience will be an added advantage.

Reporting Structure Reports to the Head of the Department (MBA) and/or Principal, as per the institutional reporting structure.
