VIT Chennai invites applications for the position of French Language Faculty at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level. We are seeking passionate language educators with strong French language proficiency, a commitment to teaching excellence, and an interest in research and student development. Preference will be given to native French speakers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging classroom sessions in French language, grammar, pronunciation, communication, and culture.
- Develop teaching materials, learning resources, and innovative language-learning activities.
- Conduct student assessments, evaluations, and examination-related activities.
- Guide students in developing French language proficiency and communication skills.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities that promote language learning and cultural awareness.
- Mentor students in their academic, personal, and professional development.
- Engage in research activities and contribute to academic publications and research initiatives.




- Promote international academic collaboration and industryinstitution interaction.
- Participate in community outreach, extension activities, and knowledge dissemination.
- Support curriculum development and adopt effective language-teaching methodologies.
- Undertake other relevant academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Dean of the respective school.

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. from a reputed university, with a solid academic and research background. Relevant qualifications and specialization in French Language, French Literature, or a related field are preferred. Experience: 012 years, depending on the designation and applicable academic requirements.
