Role & responsibilities

- Responsible for sourcing activity of Excipients, Solvents and Capsules for R&D; and Commercial projects.

- Responsible for generating Purchase Orders in SAP S/4 HANA.

- Track shipments and ensuring the material is delivered at plant as per the committed timelines from PPIC so that it does not hamper the production.

- Responsible for alternate vendor development which meets the regulatory requirements/companys specification and is cost effective and has a shorter lead time.

- Acquiring vendor qualification documents and other technical documents from the vendors.

- Coordination with companys stakeholders such as CQA, FD, ARD, RA, QC, Project Management, Accounts and Stores.

Job Specifications:

- Bachelors / Masters degree in: Pharmacy / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (MBA is a plus)

- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in API/ Excipient sourcing, Pharma procurement, R&D; sourcing in formulations companies

- Solid understanding of Global pharmaceutical supply chain.
