About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager IT Audit & Assurance to join our team in Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in IT Audit, IT Assurance, External Audit, IoT Audit, and SAP IT General Controls (ITGC).

The role will primarily focus on IT Assurance and Technology Risk, supporting and leading audit engagements, evaluating IT controls, identifying risks, and providing actionable recommendations to improve the organization's control environment.

The successful candidate should have strong experience in ITGC, SAP controls, external audit, technology assurance, and risk assessment, along with the ability to manage client/stakeholder interactions and deliver audit assignments independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute IT Audit and IT Assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Perform IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews covering areas such as:

- Access Management

- Change Management

- IT Operations

- Backup and Recovery

- Incident Management

- User Access Reviews

- Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Perform and review SAP ITGC and SAP controls across relevant business and technology processes.
- Conduct IoT (Internet of Things) audits, including assessment of technology, security, access, connectivity, and control environments.
- Support and execute External IT Audits and Assurance engagements.
- Identify, assess, and document IT risks and control gaps and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Develop audit workpapers, risk-control matrices (RCMs), audit observations, and management reports.
- Perform control testing, walkthroughs, evidence validation, and issue tracking.




- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT processes and recommend improvements to strengthen the overall control setting.
- Work closely with business, technology, cybersecurity, and internal/external audit stakeholders.
- Manage multiple audit assignments and ensure timely completion in accordance with engagement requirements.
- Review audit deliverables prepared by team members and provide appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Support senior management in preparing audit reports, presentations, and risk assessments.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhancement of IT controls.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IT audit, risk management, governance, and assurance frameworks and standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in IT Audit, IT Assurance, Technology Risk, Risk Advisory, or External Audit.
- Strong hands-on experience in IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Experience in SAP ITGC / SAP controls is highly desirable.
- Experience in IoT Audit / Technology Audit.
- Strong exposure to External Audit and IT Assurance engagements.
- Good understanding of IT risk and control frameworks, control testing, risk assessment, and audit methodologies.
- Experience in preparing Risk Control Matrices (RCMs), audit workpapers, audit reports, and management observations.
- Strong understanding of Access Management, Change Management, IT Operations, SDLC, Backup & Recovery, Incident Management, and IT Security controls.
- Ability to independently manage audit assignments and interact with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to review and guide junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with any of the following certifications will be preferred:
- CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor
- CIA – Certified Internal Auditor
- ISO 27001
- CISSP
- SAP-related certifications
- Other relevant IT Audit, Risk, Cybersecurity, or Assurance certifications
