Role & responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in sheet metal fabrication and related engineering/manufacturing industries.

- Conduct market research to identify prospective customers and generate sales leads.
- Visit industrial customers and understand their technical and commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with OEMs, industrial clients, and business partners.
- Coordinate with the techno-commercial team to prepare and submit quotations and commercial proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries and quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert leads into purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, production schedules, and timely delivery.
- Monitor customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Maintain sales reports, customer databases, and business development records.

Preferred candidate profile





B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

- 5-7 years of overall experience in industrial sales, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Sales and Business Development.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal components, industrial products, OEM sales, or a similar engineering/manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in lead generation, new customer acquisition, B2B sales, and order conversion.
- Knowledge of techno-commercial quotations, pricing, commercial negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with technical, production, and commercial teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
- Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate.
