JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background and relevant experience in the IT industry.

KEY RESPONSIBLIITIES

- Complete handling of US Accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and finalisation of accounts, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Statutory responsibility for the submission of bills, filing of returns, and compiling regulatory requirements.
- Compilation and processing/review of US payroll.
- Ensure compliance with US Federal and State tax laws and regulations.




- Maintain effective communication with overseas offices, clients, and vendors.
- Co-ordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings.
- Undertake various projects as needed to support the finance and accounting team.
- Prepare and deliver MIS reports to support decision-making.
- Perform month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Chartered Accountant (C.A.)/ C.A. Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 7-9 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the IT consulting industry.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks & NetSuite.
- Working knowledge of U.S. Payroll taxes, Federal/State tax laws, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Dropbox, Tableau, Smartsheet, Salesforce, ADP Workforce Now, Expensify, and Time and Attendance systems is desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to work night shifts is required.
