We are looking for a young and ambitious Assistant Business Manager Overseas Market to support the Business Manager in managing and developing our international markets.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Business Manager and will be developed progressively to handle markets independently and assume greater managerial responsibilities as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Business Manager in managing day-to-day business activities across assigned overseas markets.
- Coordinate with overseas distributors, dealers, business partners and internal teams.
- Assist in preparing annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts and market development plans.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and prepare regular market and business reports.
- Follow up on orders, product availability, shipments, payments and other commercial matters with relevant departments.
- Conduct market research covering market size, competitors, pricing, product trends and potential business opportunities.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales, marketing and market-entry strategies for sporting goods.
- Coordinate promotional activities, sponsorship programmes, dealer programmes, tournaments and other market development initiatives.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors and key customers and support the Business Manager in resolving operational and commercial issues.
- Monitor distributor inventory, sales performance and market coverage.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance,



Product and Shipping teams to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
- Prepare presentations, management reports, market analysis and business review materials.
- Monitor relevant import regulations, trade requirements and market developments in assigned countries.
- Travel to overseas markets when required for distributor meetings, market visits, exhibitions and business reviews.
- Independently manage selected markets or projects as experience and capability develop.
- Act as a supporting / alternate resource for the Business Manager and take responsibility for assigned markets during the Manager's absence whenever required.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, International Business, Export Sales or Market Management.
- Exposure to overseas markets, distributors or international customers will be an advantage.
- Interest in the sporting goods, consumer products or lifestyle industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and commercial understanding.
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and overseas business partners.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Asia and other assigned markets.
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of taking increasing responsibility.

Career Development This position is intended to develop a robust second-line resource for the Overseas Business function. The candidate will initially work under and support the Business Manager and, based on performance and experience, will progressively be given independent responsibility for markets and projects, with the potential to progress into a Business Manager – Overseas Market role in the future
