Job Summary

Avron Hospital is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Billing Manager to support the Billing Department in managing hospital billing operations, ensuring accurate billing, timely claim processing, and smooth coordination with patients, insurance/TPA teams, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Billing Manager in day-to-day hospital billing operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the billing team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure accurate preparation and verification of IPD, OPD, pharmacy, investigation, procedure, and package bills.
- Monitor patient billing, discounts, refunds, adjustments, and pending payments.
- Coordinate with Insurance/TPA departments for cashless approvals, claim documentation, and settlement.
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies and patient queries.
- Monitor outstanding bills and ensure timely collection and closure.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, accounts, and other departments for billing-related issues.




- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital billing policies.
- Prepare daily/monthly billing reports and MIS for management.
- Assist in audits and provide required billing records and documents.
- Train and guide billing staff on billing procedures and hospital policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient and financial information.

Eligibility / Qualifications
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; B.Com / M.Com / Hospital Management preferred.
- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in hospital billing, preferably with experience in a supervisory or senior billing role.
- Experience in hospital billing software/HIS and MS Excel is preferred.
- Knowledge of TPA, insurance, cashless, corporate billing, and claim processes will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
