We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive the sales and distribution of our toothpaste products within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the distributor and retailer network, developing market presence, and managing the performance of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.

- Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, pharmacies, supermarkets, and other trade partners.

- Identify and appoint current distributors and expand the company's distribution network.

- Ensure adequate product availability and visibility across the assigned market.

- Conduct regular market visits to understand market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.

- Monitor sales performance and take corrective measures to achieve targets.

- Lead, supervise, and motivate Business Development Executives / Sales Executives working in the territory.

- Set individual targets for sales team members and monitor their daily/weekly performance.





- Ensure effective implementation of promotional schemes, offers, and marketing activities.

- Develop strong relationships with retailers and key customers to increase product placement and sales.

- Identify new business opportunities and unexplored markets within the territory.

- Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions, and market activities and provide regular feedback to management.

- Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors and customers in coordination with the sales team.

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market visit reports, competitor activity reports, and other MIS reports.

- Ensure proper execution of merchandising and product visibility initiatives at retail outlets.

- Coordinate with the marketing team for product promotions, sampling activities, campaigns, and other market-development initiatives.

- Resolve distributor and customer issues promptly and maintain good business relationships.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and reporting requirements.
