Role Description The Area Business Head is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for driving business growth and portfolio quality within the assigned region. This role involves overseeing branch operations, setting and achieving sales and disbursement targets, and ensuring adherence to credit and risk policies.

The Area Business

Head will lead and mentor branch teams, manage performance, and support recruitment and training to build a high-performing sales and operations workforce. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring market trends, developing local business development strategies, nurturing relationships with channel partners and builders, and ensuring a smooth loan acquisition and customer service process. The role also requires regular reporting, compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, and collaboration with senior leadership to implement organizational initiatives.

Qualifications





- Strong regional business leadership skills, including team management, performance monitoring, and branch operations oversight.
- Proven experience in housing finance, retail lending, or financial services, with knowledge of home loan products, credit policies, and risk management.
- Ability to develop and execute area-level sales strategies, manage targets, and build effective market and channel partner relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on customer-centric service.
- Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities, including comfort with reporting, data review, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing multiple branches or a region in housing finance or related financial sectors is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work on-site in Coimbatore.
