Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer with a solid technical background in ServiceNow development and a specialized focus on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM/PPM) capabilities. In this role, you will lead the technical design, development, and delivery of innovative ServiceNow solutions that leverage intelligent automation and AI-driven features to enhance business service delivery. This position requires an expert balance of hands-on customization, technical leadership, and process-minded strategy to drive complex projects to completion.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow applications while defining and enforcing coding standards and best practices.

Platform Customization: Design and develop custom applications, workflows, UI components, and complex logic utilizing client scripts, business rules, UI policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.

System Integration: Architect and execute seamless integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.

Quality Assurance & Optimization: Conduct peer code reviews,



enforce test-driven development practices, oversee rigorous testing (unit, integration, UAT), and continuously optimize platform performance.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and product owners to translate functional requirements into architectural designs, provide project updates, and maintain technical documentation.

Mentorship & Training: Lead ServiceNow development teams, mentor junior developers, and provide guidance to end-users and support staff on newly deployed features.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

9+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development experience, with a mandatory 5+ years specifically in ServiceNow SPM / PPM implementation and administration.

Deep proficiency in Java Scripting within the ServiceNow platform (JavaScript, GlideScript), as well as HTML, CSS, and modern platform development tools.

Advanced expertise across core ServiceNow modules, particularly Portfolio Management, Project Management, Demand Management, and Resource Management.

Proven technical track record in configuring and managing ServiceNow IntegrationHub and API-driven architectures.
