Senior Application Architect(GCP):We are seeking a Senior Application Architect to drive enterprise-wide application architecture strategy and lead the transformation of core business applications on GCP.In this senior technologist role, you will define application-level paradigms, establish domain-driven software architecture standards, and steer complex, large-scale modernizations. You will sit at the intersection of enterprise software engineering, organizational strategy, and cloud platform capability. Focus mainly on critical application migration and modernization on Google cloud Key Responsibilities Enterprise Application Strategy: Formulate long-term application vision, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps, ensuring software architecture aligns directly with strategic business outcomes.

RFP / RFI and Proactive Opportunities: Lead the opportunities to understand the application and the underlying infrastructure, design target state architecture, resource loading and build proposals Domain-Driven Design and Modernization: Architect complex multi-tier systems using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, event-driven architectures, API-first paradigms. Lead legacy decomposition and refactoring across mission-critical portfolios.

GCP Application Architecture:



Design fault tolerant, globally distributed applications leveraging advanced GCP features (GKE Enterprise/Anthos, Cloud Run, Eventarc, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, Apigee and other GCP services).

Technical Governance and Governance: Establish enterprise design patterns, software execution frameworks, code quality guardrails, and secure software development lifecycles (SSDL) across multi-team engineering organizations.

Platform and Developer Experience: Partner with Cloud Operations and Platform Engineering to define IaC paradigms (Terraform), CI/CD developer tooling Cloud Build, GitOps and observability standards(Cloud Operations suite).

Executive Leadership and Mentorship: Act as the primary technical authority for migration and modernization PoDs with other Architects and Engineers.

Qualifications and Experience Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

Experience: 12+ yrs of progressive experience in software engineering, complex system design, and enterprise application architecture. 5+ years of hands-on architectural leadership designing and operating mission-critical applications specifically on GCP.
