Lead (AI Product Architect / AI Architect)

Role Overview The AI Product Architect Lead is responsible for defining the end-to-end AI vision,

architecture, and delivery strategy across all AI-driven products. This role bridges business objectives, clinical use cases, and technical execution, ensuring scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient AI systems.

You will lead the architectural design of LLM-based systems, agentic frameworks, and ML platforms, while guiding AI/ML engineers and collaborating closely with Product, DevOps,

UX, and clinical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Architecture

● Define and own the AI product roadmap aligned with business goals and client needs.

● Translate healthcare and clinical requirements into scalable, secure AI system designs.

● Design modular, multi-tenant AI architectures compliant with GDPR, HIPAA, NHS

DSPT.

● Establish prompt architectures ensuring consistent, reliable, and controllable AI outputs.

● Define intelligence boundaries (non-agentic → agentic systems).

● Prepare systems for agent orchestration and multi-agent workflows.

LLM & Advanced AI Systems

● Architect LLM-powered systems using OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar APIs. ●

Control and mitigate hallucinations using prompt strategies, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.

● Drive R&D; initiatives in:

○ Large Language Models (LLMs)

○ Multi-agent systems

○ Federated learning

○ Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Leadership & Collaboration

● Lead and mentor AI/ML and data science teams,



defining best practices.

● Oversee model lifecycle management (design → training → deployment →

monitoring).

● Coordinate with DevOps, Product Managers, Backend, Frontend, and UX teams.

● Ensure ethical, explainable, and legally compliant AI usage across products.

Cost, Performance & Governance

● Design cost-aware AI architectures optimizing inference, token usage, and infrastructure.

● Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance in production.

● Establish governance frameworks for AI safety, bias mitigation, and auditability.

Objectives / KPIs

● Deliver a functional, scalable AI architecture supporting all products within

6–12 months.

● Reduce model deployment time by 30–50%.

● Achieve >95% uptime and high inference reliability.

● Ensure full compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory AI standards.

● Upskill engineering teams to meet performance and product delivery goals.

Required Skills & Experience

● 6–10 years experience in AI systems, ML architecture, or AI product leadership

● Strong expertise in LLM prompt engineering and AI system design.

● Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs.

● Deep understanding of agentic vs non-agentic AI systems.

● Experience designing secure, compliant healthcare AI solutions. ●

Knowledge of MLOps, cloud platforms, and distributed AI systems.

● Solid leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
