Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant / Architect specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to lead technical consulting and implementation engagements for enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on AEM development experience, solution architecture expertise, and excellent client-facing communication skills. The role involves understanding business requirements, reviewing technical solutions, troubleshooting implementation issues, and guiding clients and implementation partners on industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for client engagements and implementation partners.
- Gather and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Review AEM solution architecture, customized designs, and implementation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable AEM implementations.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Identify implementation gaps, technical risks, and performance issues.
- Guide clients on AEM best practices, platform adoption, and maturity roadmaps.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, project managers, marketers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Manage multiple client engagements, project timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
- Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports, and presentations.
- Mentor team members and share technical knowledge and implementation best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

- AEM Sites, Assets, Forms deployment, and migration.
- Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, and Tag Libraries.
- Apache Sling, Sling Servlets, Sling Models, OSGi components, and JCR Queries.
- HTL (Sightly), Touch UI, and AEM component development.
- Dispatcher configuration, CRX repository, workflows, replication, and performance management.
- JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
- Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and technical troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Knowledge of contemporary AEM features, cloud migration, and deployment practices.
- Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Audience Manager, or Adobe Commerce.
- Experience with enterprise application development and distributed systems.
- Strong experience in client-facing consulting, technical presentations, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work with global teams and overlap with North American business hours when required.

Required Experience and Education
- 8+ years of industry experience in technical consulting and AEM implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and advise clients on solution design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ownership, analytical thinking, adaptability, and customer-focused problem-solving abilities.
