Role & responsibilities

- Handle farmland registration, property transactions, and related legal formalities.

- Verify land ownership, title deeds, encumbrance certificates, revenue records, and other property documents.

- Manage land-related legal matters, due diligence, and risk assessment.

- Provide legal advice on real estate transactions, property laws, land acquisition, land use, and regulatory compliance.

- Draft, review, and verify agreements, sale deeds, legal notices, and other legal documents.

- Handle civil litigation matters and coordinate with external advocates, courts, and government authorities.

- Maintain and verify land records, including UDR, FMB sketches, Adangal extracts, Chitta, and other relevant revenue documents.

- Ensure compliance with applicable Karnataka and Tamil Nadu land laws, registration rules, forest laws, and other relevant legislation.

- Coordinate with management and customers regarding legal queries, complaints, and property-related concerns.

- Maintain accurate legal records, documentation, and case updates.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.)



from a recognised institution.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Trial Court practice, preferably handling civil litigation matters.

- Strong knowledge of property law, land registration, land revenue records, and real estate documentation.

- Familiarity with the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, Karnataka Land Revenue Act, Transfer of Property Act, and relevant Tamil Nadu land laws.

- Knowledge of land due diligence, title verification, and agricultural land regulations.

- Excellent legal drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Kannada reading and writing skills are mandatory. Tamil language skills are an added advantage but not mandatory.

- Ability to coordinate with government departments, registration offices, advocates, and other stakeholders.

- Solid attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving skills.

- Prior real estate or farmland legal experience will be an added advantage.

- Immediate joiners are preferred.
