Activations Manager | Zeassetz | Zolo

Prepare the asset. Drive launch readiness. Bring properties to market.

Company Name: ZoloStays

Designation: Activations Manager

Location: Mumbai

Salary Range: up to 8 LPA (Subject to hike according to market standards)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 2 - 5 years in real estate

Why this role exists A property’s success begins well before it is launched. Before a property can be presented to the market, it needs to be physically ready, visually appealing, operationally functional, and prepared to meet the expectations of its future customers. This involves coordinating multiple activities—from property assessment and readiness planning to furnishing, repairs, vendor execution, installations, quality checks, and final handover.

As Zeassetz expands its property portfolio, we need someone who can take complete ownership of this activation journey and ensure that properties move from their initial state to launch-ready within defined timelines and budgets. This role exists to ensure that every property is activated with speed, quality, cost discipline, and clear accountability .

Your mandate is clear

- Own property activation from initial assessment to launch readiness
- Build and execute property-specific activation plans
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Drive furnishing, repairs, installations, and other readiness activities
- Maintain quality standards and control activation costs
- Identify and resolve execution gaps before they delay launch
- Ensure properties are handed over on time and are ready for market launch

This is an end-to-end property execution role. You are responsible for turning a property into a launch-ready asset.

About Zolo and Zeassetz

Finding dependable accommodation and real estate opportunities has historically been fragmented and inconsistent. Zolo is building a connected living and hospitality ecosystem across Coliving, Hotels, and other property-led businesses.

Zeassetz enables structured real estate ownership and asset-backed growth opportunities.

As the portfolio grows, the ability to prepare properties efficiently, maintain consistent standards, and bring assets to market on time becomes increasingly key. We are building the execution capabilities required to activate properties systematically and scale with discipline.

- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to establish launch dates and readiness milestones

1. Drive Property Readiness & Execution

- Manage end-to-end execution of property activation activities
- Coordinate painting, repairs, electrical and plumbing work, furnishing, fixtures, signage, and other applicable requirements
- Ensure rooms, common areas, and other relevant spaces are prepared to the required standard
- Monitor on-ground progress against activation plans

- Coordinate multiple vendors and workstreams to ensure activities are completed in the right sequence
- Identify delays, quality gaps, and dependencies that could affect launch timelines

1. Vendor & Contractor Management

- Identify and coordinate with vendors, contractors, service providers, and suppliers
- Communicate scope, quality expectations, timelines, and deliverables clearly
- Track vendor progress and ensure commitments are met
- Inspect completed work and coordinate rectification wherever required
- Resolve execution issues and escalate persistent delays or quality concerns
- Ensure vendor work is completed against agreed scope and commercial terms

1. Budget & Cost Control

- Prepare and track property activation budgets
- Monitor expenditure against approved estimates
- Identify cost overruns, unnecessary expenditure, and opportunities for optimisation
- Validate completed work against agreed scope before recommending closure
- Coordinate quotations, purchase requirements, invoices, and supporting documentation with relevant teams
- Maintain cost visibility across properties and activation projects

1. Quality Checks & Launch Readiness

- Conduct property inspections at key stages of activation
- Ensure completed work meets defined quality and presentation standards

- Identify incomplete work and ensure defects are corrected before handover
- Maintain a structured readiness checklist for every property
- Ensure the property is presentable, functional, and ready for its intended launch

1. Cross-Functional Coordination & Handover

- Work closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Maintenance, and other relevant teams
- Ensure all teams understand the requirements and timelines for launch

- Provide regular updates on activation status and expected completion dates
- Flag risks and delays early, along with proposed corrective actions
- Identify recurring bottlenecks across activations
- Standardise checklists, workflows, and reporting mechanisms
- Improve activation speed and consistency as the property portfolio scales

What success looks like after 6–12 months

- Properties are activated and made launch-ready within committed timelines

- Every property has a clear readiness plan and documented handover

- Cross-functional teams receive properties that are ready for launch
- Activation delays and recurring execution bottlenecks reduce
- Property readiness becomes more predictable and repeatable as the portfolio expands

Success means properties move from initial assessment to launch readiness through a structured, cost-conscious, and quality-driven process. Who this role is for

You will likely thrive here if:

- You enjoy taking a physical project from an unfinished state to completion
- You are comfortable spending time on-site and managing execution on the ground
- You can coordinate multiple vendors, activities, and deadlines simultaneously
- You notice quality gaps and insist on getting them corrected
- You take ownership when timelines slip rather than waiting for instructions
- You can balance speed, cost, and quality without losing sight of the final outcome
- You are organised, persistent, and comfortable managing multiple properties
- You can communicate clearly with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- You prefer solving real execution problems over managing work only through emails and meetings

Experience we value

- Relevant experience in property activation, project execution, fit-outs, interior execution, facilities setup, or property operations
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, installations, repairs, furnishing, or site-readiness activities
- Exposure to real estate, property management, hospitality, co-living, serviced apartments, or commercial fit-outs will be valuable
- Experience tracking project timelines, budgets, quality, and dependencies
- Comfort with on-site inspections, vendor follow-ups, and property-level execution
- Strong planning, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Candidates who have independently managed site execution or property-readiness projects will be particularly relevant. We value execution ownership over experience limited to documentation, design coordination, or vendor follow-ups without responsibility for final delivery.

The impact you will have

Your work will directly influence how quickly and efficiently Zeassetz can bring properties to market.

You will help ensure that:

- Properties are ready when the business needs them
- Activation costs are controlled
- Quality standards remain consistent
- Launch delays caused by execution gaps are reduced
- Operations teams receive properties that are ready to function
- The business can scale property activation without depending on ad hoc coordination

You will turn property readiness into a repeatable execution capability—not a one-off project every time.

Why join now

As Zeassetz grows its property portfolio, activation becomes a critical link between identifying an asset and bringing it to market. This role offers the opportunity to take direct ownership of real properties, coordinate multiple stakeholders, solve on-ground challenges, and see the tangible outcome of your work.

You will help build the processes, standards, and execution discipline that allow property activations to happen faster and more consistently.

If you enjoy building things from the ground up and taking complete ownership until the final outcome, this role offers the opportunity to make that your core responsibility.
