Role & Responsibilities

- Handle daily invoicing and billing for logistics and transportation services.
- Upload invoices and supporting documents on MNC customer portals within prescribed timelines.
- Verify freight rates, LR copies, PODs, and other documents before invoice submission.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries using Tally and company software.(Tally Optional)
- Track customer outstanding payments, invoice due dates, and overdue amounts.
- Regularly follow up with customer finance teams through email and telephone for payment releases.
- Monitor invoice acceptance, rejection, payment status, and portal-related issues.
- Prepare customer-wise outstanding statements, invoice ageing reports, and MIS reports.
- Perform customer ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and basic GST-related documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to resolve billing discrepancies and missing documents.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform other accounts-related duties assigned by management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.Com or equivalent commerce qualification preferred.
- 25 years of relevant experience in accounting, billing, or accounts receivable.
- Good working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime (Tally Optional) and MS Excel.
- Experience in MNC customer portals, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups is preferred.
- Candidates from logistics, transportation, freight forwarding,



or manufacturing industries will be given preference.
- Good communication skills for professional email correspondence and payment follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and accuracy in accounting documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple invoices, deadlines, and customer accounts independently.
- Honest, responsible, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
