Accounts Executive - Gen AI-based startup - Bengaluru

Job Summary: A Gen AI-based startup is looking to hire a Graduate or Post Graduate or Semi Qualified CA with 3+years of experience for the role of Accounts Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliation, payroll processing and ensuring compliance with taxation laws. Also, assisting the auditors with necessary financial documents.

Location: Basavanagudi, Bangalore (Near Lal Bagh Botanical Garden Metro)

Designation: Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounting software (Tally, Zoho).

Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, vendor payments,



and follow up on outstanding receivables.

GST & Tax Compliance: Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as required.

Payroll Processing: Support payroll calculations, including deductions and compliance with labor laws.

Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.

Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash expenses and ensure proper documentation.

Key Requirements:

- Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho books accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Education: B. Com/ M.com/ CA Inter or equivalent

Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or taxation.

Working Days: Mon-Fri
