Prexford International Skills Academy is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and result-oriented Academic Counsellorto join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant experience in academic counselling, educational admissions, student recruitment or sales.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, managing course enquiries, following up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns and converting enquiries into admissions.

Candidates residing in Kochi will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact prospective students through telephone calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Respond to enquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
- Explain course details, eligibility, duration, fees, learning outcomes and career opportunities.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable training programmes.
- Follow up with prospective students regularly and guide them through the admission process.




- Convert qualified leads into enrolments and achieve agreed admission targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups and admissions.
- Coordinate with the marketing and academic teams to support admission campaigns.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students and provide a professional counselling experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, student admissions or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid persuasion, follow-up and student engagement skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in email, spreadsheets and digital communication tools.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and work towards admission targets.
- A proactive, organised and professional approach.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently residing in Kochi are preferred.
- Experience handling leads from digital marketing campaigns is an advantage.
- Familiarity with professional training courses and skill development programmes is desirable.
- Candidates who can join at the earliest will be preferred.
