Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst/QA Engineer with strong functional expertise in Workday Financial Management to validate and ensure the quality of Workday Finance implementations, enhancements, integrations, and business processes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Workday Finance modules, test planning, test execution, defect management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents related to Workday Financials.

Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.

Validate end-to-end business processes across Workday Finance modules.

Execute testing for Workday releases, upgrades, and enhancements.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Stakeholders.

Validate integrations between Workday Financials and external systems.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality assurance recommendations.

Support data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing activities.

Ensure all testing deliverables are completed within project timelines.

Required Functional Expertise

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following Workday Financial Management modules:

Financial Accounting

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Revenue Management

Banking & Settlement

Asset Management

Procurement & Supplier Accounts

Expenses

Grants Management

Projects & Project Billing

Financial Reporting

Required Skills

3+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience.

2+ years of Workday Financials functional experience.

Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management.





Experience creating and executing manual test cases.

Knowledge of Workday business processes, security roles, and reporting.

Experience with Workday releases and tenant testing.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience testing Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).

Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Worksoft Certify, or Katalon.

Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar tools.

Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics and Reporting.

Workday Financial Management Certification (preferred).

Experience supporting global finance implementations.

Nice-to-Have

Experience working in Workday implementation, enhancement, or support projects.

Understanding of financial compliance and audit requirements.

Experience in Finance transformation or ERP testing projects.
