Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development and Marketing role based in Bhubaneswar for a professional with approximately 16 years of experience. The role involves developing and executing business growth strategies for print, television, radio, theatre, and digital media properties, with a focus on revenue expansion and market penetration across Odisha and beyond.

Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, leading lead generation campaigns, and coordinating marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence and audience engagement.



The position requires close collaboration with editorial, sales, digital, and operations teams to design integrated media solutions, pitch value propositions, and track performance against targets. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, preparing business reports and presentations, monitoring competitor activity, and recommending data-driven improvements to marketing and sales strategies.

Qualifications

- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret market data, measure campaign performance, and support decision-making.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and build long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lead Generation and pipeline management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proficiency in Market Research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer segments.
- Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention across diverse media offerings.
- Extensive experience (around 16 years) in business development and marketing, preferably in media, advertising, or related industries.
- Knowledge of integrated media solutions across print, TV, radio, theatre, and digital platforms, and familiarity with regional markets in Odisha.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
