Profile: Accountant
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounts entry, GST and TDS
Roles:
- Perform daily accounting data entry (sales, purchase, journal, receipt and payment vouchers) accurately and on time using Tally
- Maintain books of accounts and update ledgers regularly
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B
- Calculate TDS, deduct it correctly, make timely payments and file TDS returns
- Perform bank reconciliation and party ledger reconciliation
- Handle invoicing, billing and maintain vendor and customer records
- Coordinate with the CA or auditor and provide data for audit and compliance
- Keep all accounting documents properly filed and organised
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (graduation in commerce preferred)
- Working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
